3-D has always been the poor relation in the photography genre. Personally I live it, and for the next month (March 2025), I will be making many ‘stereo’ images, using film, digital, glass plates, paper negatives and outdated colour film. These here were made using my iPhone 12, and various 3-D apps.

Using Different Apps.
I must admit, I love using different apps on my iPhone 12 to frame and make images. Recently I downloaded a niffty app called PhotoGlue + where you can join images together, like the one here of our Virginia Creeper in Winter sleep mode.
I’m going to have a day soon, using this app for street photography.
Leftovers.
Digital photography had the upper hand when getting rid of images that are surplus to requirements. Not like traditional film photography or snapshots, where you can end up throwing out lots of ‘off looking’ prints. This morning, I was clearing away stuff from my battered, old Nikon Coolpix when I decided to keep these few images and make them into something.
While In Church.
Using my Lumix GF-3 and a 50mm SLR lens fixed by an adapter, I made a few images at my home church recently. it’s another combination I will be using for general street photography, as time moves on, and I quite like the results.

Look At Yourself.
The ‘selfie’, is a global phenomenon, but I was a latecomer to the party, and began to make images of myself, un a semi serious way, since my cancer diagnosis nearly two years ago. This latest work, which I transformed into stereo image, was made recently for an ongoing project, and made using the Antigraf app on my iPhone 12.

Just Coffee Please.
Today, I spent some time in a local coffee hangout, to meet ip with a treasured friend to talk about my forthcoming display in a local exhibition. To kill some time, I made some images on my iPhone, using both the Tintype and Antigraf apps.

Stereoscopic Views.
I live 3-D photography, but of late not done very much. As I write, the plan is to make some images this coming week, both on film and digital. The images shown here were made using a couple of apps on my iPhone 12.
One In Two
One In Two refers to the statistic that one in two people here in the UK will get some form of cancer. I was diagnosed in the summer of 2023, and although I’m feeling good at the moment, the fight goes on. This is part of my ongoing project, where the everyday use of photography is one of the ways I am dealing with my predicament. These are just a few from the many, many images I’m making every day.
Up Close.
Using a Macro lens on my ‘Big’ camera, a made a series of close up images of a bunch of flowers, given to my wife for her birthday. The lens itself was inexpensive, but I have found the results to be pretty good.
